Shipping & Returns

Below is information on our shipping process and our return policy.

PAYMENT– Our site is configured with a safe and secure server to protect your sensitive credit card information. We accept all major credit cards on the site. If you wish to pay by check, or money order, please call us to place the order. Your total will be calculated and we must wait for the check to clear before shipping the order.
 
SHIPPING – Orders will be shipped by FedEx ground only. Most orders will be shipped the next business day. Free shipping on any item will be by Fed Ex ground only. Expedited shipping will be calculated and paid by the customer. All items ship from NJ and are subject to shipping zones and the time frame to travel by ground from NJ. We will ship anywhere in the world but the shipping price will then have to be calculated due to the destination country, the size and weight of the package. Please call or email us if you need products shipped outside of the continental United States
 
TRACKING- Once your order is placed you will receive an email confirming your order and this also is your invoice. The part numbers of the items ordered along with your shipping information will be on that invoice. There will NOT be a tracking number along with that. We will place your email address in the fed ex shipping system and once your package is picked up and scanned into their system, you will begin to get tracking emails. Most orders will be shipped within 24-48 hours upon confirmation of the order. Most orders will take between 2-5 business days to arrive.  Please inspect all items upon receipt and DO NOT sign for damaged parcels. Orders will be shipped via ground service with a “NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED” delivery. This means that the carrier can leave the package at the door and its considered “delivered” at this point. If you need special shipping, or are at risk of packages being stolen by being left outside, we can change the shipping option. If tracking shows it was delivered to that location, we will not be liable for claims of not receiving a package
 
RETURNS- . Chief Steamers will be accepted for return and given a FULL refund up to 10 days after receipt. We need to be notified of any returns and will give clear instructions on the return process. After the 10 day return period, we will NOT accept a return. The customer will be responsible for shipping costs back to us and the original shipping charge will not be refunded  Steam cleaners must be drained of water prior to shipping back to us. Steam cleaners will be refunded after a thorough operating inspection. If multiple brushes are worn or dirty, it will be subject to replacement of parts fees
 
 
WARRANTY- Any steam cleaner that needs repair, if determined it needs to come back, the repair will be handled by Chief Steamer. If equipment needs to be shipped back, we will pay for the shipment back to us ONLY in the first 30 days. After 30 days the customer will pay the shipping to us. We will pay for the shipping back to the customer for a period of up to 1 year.  Equipment under warranty will be repaired as soon as possible and returned via GROUND ONLY service. We reserve the right to examine and determine if equipment is under warranty and if it has been neglected or abused by the customer.
 
If a part fails under warranty and is deemed that the equipment does not need to be returned and can be repaired or replaced by the customer, there will be NO LABOR paid back to the customer. We WILL NOT pay for claims of “lost business” due to broken equipment under warranty. We reserved the right to ship any part by ground (not overnight) as we choose.
 
Any customer that opens a machine to “scout around” and see what its made of, or wants to see if they can adjust anything such as pressure to their liking, will have the warranty voided. There has been information floating around the internet on how to adjust steam pressure on certain machines. Pressure is set at the factory and CANNOT be adjusted by a customer. This is a HUGE safety concern. These are not toys and they are not be opened unless authorized by us.

Kleen Car/Chief Steamer is not responsible for any damage done to something being cleaned. Care should be taken in cleaning any surface or material. Certain surfaces may react to steam in various ways. It is up to the user to clean an inconspicuous spot before cleaning a large area if there is any question as to how it may react. As well, combining a cleaner with steam will generally make the cleaner more potent. Any videos seen on our website are NOT training videos. They are for demonstration purposes only. We do not assume you have been “trained” to use a steam cleaner in any situation solely based on watching a video on our website. Any information posted or omitted does not make us liable for any mistakes that can be made to a surface using a steam cleaner. We will not be responsible for the cost of any mistake made by the user. We make no claims to train people on how to properly and safely clean every surface. If a mistake is made and damaged is caused, the liability falls solely on the user. This page is a mandatory read before the process of purchasing a steam cleaner is completed. The sale online cannot go through until you have checked the box that states that this entire page has been read. In a case of purchasing a steam cleaner over the phone, the customer will be informed that these are the parameters upon making the purchase
